oh yeah how can you know the top tube length and not know the wheelbase? the "top tube length" means just about nothing in real life, seeing as it is completely dependent on the wheelbase and the seat angle.

ill take some guesswork outta it for ya- you want 1.5" x 0.9mm moly downtube and 1"x.5" x 0.9mm c/s, supertherm 0.9/0.6/0.9 toptube, double butted 27.2 supertherm seat tube, and 19mm oval butted seatstays. this will give you about a 5lb frame. and a fox36 will change your head angle from 70 to 67 degrees straight out.

oh and im aiming for 100mm travel but im thinking i might want 2 shock mounting positions and the second has a bit more if i decide to get a fox 36 for it. not sure if i said this but im thinking of getting the weight to be 5.5-6lbs frame only

im using a marzocchi dj1 and the wheelbase i still need to figure out. i was also thinking of using straight gueage tubing for the downtube and chainstays while the top tube, seat tube and chainstays maybe use triple butted chromoly. need to figure out the dropouts and tubing thicknesses and ill send you the numbers once i get the money
